Monk progress screen showing habits, commitments and fasts included in one app

THE WHOLE APP

A real trial. One unlock. No recurring bill.

Download Monk free and use all of it for 7 days. The trial doesn’t renew, and nothing is charged when it ends. If Monk earns its place, one purchase unlocks daily habits, abstinence commitments, food and phone fasts, reflection, progress, optional backup and all six appearances.

WHAT THE TRIAL AND THE UNLOCK INCLUDE

The useful parts are not reserved for later.

Monk includes flexible habit plans, editable calendars, abstinence records, food-fast and phone-fast timers, Live Activities, calm progress views, reflections, reminders and optional Sign in with Apple backup and sync.

You can also choose among Monk, Stoa, Zen, Vesper, Rose and Simple. The worlds change the atmosphere, not which features you are allowed to use.

No subscription

There is no monthly or annual plan to keep the app working.

One unlock, nothing else to buy

Features and visual worlds are not sold back to you one at a time. One purchase unlocks all of them.

No advertising

Your attention and personal practice are not the business model.

NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED

Paying for Monk does not sign your life into a service.

Monk works fully offline and stores your practice on your iPhone by default. Sign in with Apple is optional and exists for people who want cloud backup and sync across their devices.

There are no ads in the app, no tracking across other companies’ apps and websites, and no data sales. From Monk 1.1.4, outside the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Monk tells Meta when it is installed and opened, so we can measure our own ads; nothing you record is sent. Apple handles the App Store payment; Stoic AS does not receive your card details or Apple account details. Whether you are in the trial or have unlocked Monk is stored only on your iPhone.

COMMON QUESTIONS

The price, without fine print.

Is $7.99 the price everywhere?

$7.99 is the unlock price in the United States. Monk is free to download everywhere, and Apple sets the equivalent local unlock price shown in each country’s App Store.

Will I need to subscribe later?

No. Monk has no subscription. After the 7-day trial, a single in-app purchase unlocks every feature and visual world in this version.

What happens when the trial ends?

Nothing is charged, and nothing renews. You can still open Monk, see and export everything you’ve recorded, and finish anything already running. Starting or logging something new asks for the one-time unlock.

Can I use Monk without signing in?

Yes. The complete app works offline without an account. Signing in with Apple is optional and adds backup and sync, plus private challenges with friends.

Can I download it again?

Yes. Download Monk again from the App Store on any compatible device, then choose Settings › Restore Purchases in Monk to bring back your unlock. If you bought Monk before version 1.1.3, everything stays unlocked with nothing to do.
